Increasing Student Attendance will result in better performance.
It goes without saying that attending school is important for a scholar’s
development. Research suggest that low attendance adversely effects a child’s
trajectory. On the flip side, good attendance has positive effects on student
performance.
So, it makes sense that it’s incorporated into The Phenomenal Student
metric.
I kept the rating simple. If a child misses a certain amount of days,
they get the appropriate rating. (For example, kids who miss 3-4 days get a 9
rating.)
